Music and cannabis have been connected for as long as most of us can remember. RYTHM Cannabis, owned and operated by Green Thumb Industries (GTI), is celebrating that connection with its brand new Artist Series. The cannabis brand has partnered with four musicians, crafting four unique strains that amplifies each artists’ connection to the plant.

“The RYTHM Artist Series is about elevating the authentic relationship artists have with cannabis while bringing fans closer to their favorite artist by smoking the same strain as them,” said GTI founder and CEO Ben Kovler, “We are excited to partner with great artists to offer premium strains to music and RYTHM fans alike.”

The collection kicks off with Night Owl Haze, a strain customized by country singer Mitchell Tenpenny. It is named in honor of Nashville and boasts buzzing sativa effects with a terpene profile emitting pine and bubble gum notes.

“Cannabis is synonymous with the production of timeless music across several genres,” said Mitchell Tenpenny. “RYTHM’s desire to fuse art with cannabis in unique and interesting ways made them an ideal partner to bring my Night Owl Haze strain to life. I can’t wait for my fans to smoke it—I love it, and know they will, too.”

Pop-punk band State Champs, southern rock and roll artist Marcus King, and R&B doll Tinashe will be the next to hand-pick a RYTHM strain for the collection.

Night Owl Haze will be available exclusively at Florida RISE Dispensaries on October 27th. That day, Tenpenny will host a meet-and-greet at the West Palm Beach RISE in celebration of the inaugural strain in the collection. Country fans and connoisseurs in Nevada and Illinois can expect Night Owl Haze and the country star to come to their markets soon after.

The relationship between cannabis and music is undeniable, and RYTHM hopes to showcase that. With collaborations across genres, the cannabis strain collection is shining a spotlight on the vast fanbase of the plant by tapping into music fans all over the country.
