Mothership fans can win trip to hit $25,000 dab rig

mothership glass pipe for contest

Mothership is one of the most recognizable names in cannabis. The famed glassmakers are known for their distinctive high-end pipes and dab rigs, some of which cost tens of thousands of dollars. Many consumers never have the chance to experience the highly coveted weed accessories, but one cannabis brand is giving two lucky folks a path in.

RYTHM launched its special 710 contest last week, showcasing the brand’s stunning Animal Face-edition Mothership rig. Dab fans can enter to win a free trip to Chicago, where they and a guest will officially christen the $25,000 dab rig at the RISE Mundelein lounge.

Roundtrip airfare for two and a two-night hotel stay, plus transportation to and from RISE, are included in the prize pack. They’ll also get a $150 credit to the RISE lounge to pick out whatever concentrates they desire for their sesh. While the winners may not get to take the rig home, being the first to hit it is a high honor (no pun intended).

Founded by Scott Deppe, Mothership Glass has built a cult following among concentrate enthusiasts for its intricate, space-inspired borosilicate glass designs. Limited editions regularly sell out within minutes, while rare pieces can fetch tens of thousands of dollars on the secondary market.

The giveaway coincides with 710, the unofficial holiday for cannabis concentrates. Similar to how 420 celebrates cannabis culture broadly, 710 has become a day for hash lovers to indulge in dabs, hunt for limited-edition products, and take advantage of dispensary deals.

Entries close Aug. 1, with the sweepstakes open to adults 21 and older in Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Those who want a chance to win can learn how on the RYTHM Instagram page. For hash heads who have only admired Mothership pieces from afar, this contest is your shot to get up close and personal with a one-of-a-kind rig.
