Call of Duty Black Ops 6 launches weird weed event

Call of Duty is the second-best-selling game behind the cherished Mario franchise, and it remains popular years after its launch. The game hosts events on top of regular play where competitive and promotional activities inside the virtual world unlock special, limited-time prizes. Starting May 1st until the 15th, these side quests are geared towards the stoners.

High Art featuring Seth Rogen launched today, opening up a new world within Call of Duty Black Ops 6 (COD BO6). Players must earn XP in Multiplayer, Zombies, or Call of Duty: Warzone while the event is live to work towards the many exciting, trippy rewards.
Those who complete the event activities could win the Ladra and 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion. The level 37 Ladra is a fully automatic machine gun with an extreme rate of fire, low recoil, and excellent range.
As for the Mini-Rocket Conversion, this changes the Goblin Mk2 7.62 into a fully-automatic weapon. Win this to hit multiple enemies at a time with the rocket. However, it loses velocity and rate of fire when converted. Winning weapons is only one part of the fun with this cannabis-centric COD event.
Those who opt into the free gameplay pack will automatically win a “Seth’s Tray” sticker that looks much like a vessel from the Houseplant Ashtray set. Other rewards from this track include a psychedelic “Psycho-kettle” charm, “Pot-tery” spray, “Vape Jape” animated emblem, and a “Casual Ops” skin (body a person can play as).
The Premium Track costs 1100 COD Points and instantly brings Rogen in on the fun. Upgrading to this track automatically grants players the “Fired Up” operator skin. This character looks like Rogen in a bucket hat and red glasses geared up for the big one.

Continue down this path to win a “High Fliers” fan leaf decal, “Weed Watch” gunscreen, different decorative weapon blueprints, and specialty emotes like a Seth Rogen “Ha!” featuring his iconic laugh. “Host Rogen” is also on the table, a gameshow host operating skin complete with a cheesy plaid sports coat. These are just some potential rewards from both High Art tracks.
Fans are mixed on whether they like the Rogen-centric update. Weary commenters on the social media share lamented the loss of the gritty war vibes COD launched with.
Shotsbyaj_ said, “This isn’t Fortnite. Stop the goofy nonsense.”
Another questioned, “Why is COD obsessed with weed?”
But not everyone is against the event.
Jayfromthea505 wrote, “These skins dope, y’all just some cry babies about it.”

No matter the opinion, these prizes are available now. This event overlaps with Blaze of Glory and Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Got Your Six Events, which offer even more perks, upgrades, and loot. Play them at the same time to maximize specialty winnings in May. Those interested in playing COD with Seth Rogen have until May 15th before the High Art event ends.
Cannabis and video games are a natural match for many. Inventive collaborations like this are a solid nod to that beloved combination. While the event ends in a few weeks, those who win the rewards may earn the right to laugh like Seth Rogen in Black Ops 6 gameplay forever.
