As festivals embrace legal weed, Noise Pop joins the movement
For many, music and cannabis are a natural pairing. Fans have long brought the two together, but official partnerships are still relatively new. Now San Francisco music mainstay Noise Pop is making it official with its first cannabis collaboration, teaming up with Bay Area dispensary Solful—and taking the partnership beyond a simple co-brand.

To mark the upcoming Noise Pop Festival, the promoters have teamed up with Solful on a limited-edition pre-roll dubbed “Snap, Crackle, Noise Pop.” According to a press release, the collaboration draws inspiration from a 1997 San Francisco Examiner article by Noise Pop co-founder Jordan Kurland that captured the company’s early spirit: unexpected, independent, and rooted in discovery.
“As a locally owned, independent company, partnering with Noise Pop—another independently run San Francisco institution—as its first-ever official cannabis sponsor is a meaningful collaboration,” Solful CEO and co-founder Eli Melrod told GreenState.
The limited-edition Solful x Noise Pop pre-roll blends Peach Flambe and Lemon Papaya Banana flower grown by Northern California craft cultivator Terrapin Farms. The uplifting, euphoric strains were selected to create a festival-friendly vibe—whether you’re catching indie icon Stephen Malkmus or hip-hop poet Lyrics Born. Five-packs are available at all three Solful dispensary locations.

The packs offer more than just good vibes. Buyers can score 10 percent off full general admission (GA) Noise Pop badges. One lucky customer will also find a Golden Ticket tucked inside, redeemable for two full GA badges that unlock every show at every venue.
Ticket holders can pick up their credentials at Solful’s San Francisco location during a special Badge Drop party on Feb. 19 from 5 to 9 p.m. It marks the first time the festival has hosted a pickup event at a licensed dispensary. The kickoff will feature vinyl sets from Hyde FM resident DJ Sam G, special gifts for badge holders, and light bites and beverages.
During the festival’s multi-venue run, ticket holders can also pop by Solful for a special happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m., featuring exclusive discounts.

With exclusive products, ticket perks, and community events, the collaboration extends Noise Pop’s ethos beyond the stage. It also places the festival in growing company. Outside Lands set the bar with Grass Lands, its on-site cannabis marketplace powered by Embarc, and Stern Grove Festival, which teamed up with Solful for its 2025 free concert series. As more music institutions embrace regulated cannabis partnerships, Noise Pop’s first official collab signals that this once-unofficial pairing is becoming part of the main stage.
