Domestic diva Martha Stewart likely never thought she’d be associated with marijuana. But after befriending cannabis icon Snoop Dogg and discovering the benefits of CBD, she launched her own line of infused gummies in 2020.

Now, the homemaking icon is expanding her offerings, looking to her backyard (and personal experience) for inspiration.

“Like many people, I choose CBD products based on my needs at the time, which was the inspiration behind the new co-actives line,” Stewart told People magazine. “For these gummies, we combined sophisticated, artisanal flavors that I have long enjoyed as staples in my recipes, often plucked straight from my own orchards and kitchen garden.”

Stewart announced three new varieties of her popular CBD gummies, designed with effects in mind. The Sleep gummies are berry-forward and contain 3 mg of melatonin in addition to the 25 mg of CBD. Chill features 25 mg of CBD and 50 mg of L-Theanine, with a “citrus-forward concoction of tangerine, yuzu, and pomelo.” The Extra Strength gummies have notes of apricot and peach and contain 30 mg of CBD.

It’s not the first time Stewart used her personal experience as inspo for her cannabis line: her initial offerings came from time spent in Europe.

“The original gummies were inspired by a trip to Paris where I first tasted pâte de fruits, a French confection that is as delicious as it is beautiful,” she explained

When asked if her favorite stoner buddy liked her gummies, Stewart offered a resounding “yes.”

“I’ve shared a variety of items from my CBD line with Snoop, and he’s enjoyed them in the recording studio. Snoop actually helped to inspire the creation of the line!”

The new Martha Stewart CBD line was launched in partnership with cannabis multi-state operator Canopy Growth Corporation. The gummies are available online and are targeted toward wellness-minded individuals who may be trying cannabis for the first time.
