There’s going to be some fire on the mountain—and beyond—thanks to a new collab between the legendary band Grateful Dead and cannabis device makers Grenco Science.

Debuting this fall, the partnership marks the first foray of the Grateful Dead into the modern marijuana device space. Co-branded product releases from both G Pen vaporizers and Stündenglass Gravity infusers will feature iconic imagery from the storied band’s rich history.

The Grateful Dead have been counterculture darlings for generations. Known for their eclectic musical stylings and raucous shows that feature extended jam sessions, the Dead continue to resonate decades after they first hit the scene.

“The Grateful Dead’s music has transcended generations and has touched so many lives, including mine,” Chris Folkerts, CEO of Grenco Science, said in a press release.

The news comes as Dead and Company, which features original members of the Grateful Dead, comes off their wildly successful farewell tour. With a fervently loyal following of Dead Heads, Folkerts is thrilled to be able to keep the band’s legacy truckin’.

“For over ten years, we’ve been working towards this moment, and it’s a true honor to create products for their devoted fans,” he said. “This collaboration is a huge accomplishment for our team and me personally.”

Grenco Science has had a number of high-profile partners throughout the years, including Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, B-Real, and Cookies. The partnership with Grateful Dead will expand the brand’s visibility into the rock music scene, introducing G Pen and Stündenglass to an entirely new demographic.

Grateful Dead devices will hit the market within the coming weeks. While the official catalog has yet to be announced, the products are sure to create a buzz well beyond Shakedown Street.
