3 standout pot products worth your time (and money)

cannabis leaf pot products

As a working weed journalist, product discovery is a big part of my job. From new device launches to emerging markets, there’s always plenty to see (and smoke). Most items that land on my desk are underwhelming — but every so often, something stands out.

From indestructible weed joints to updated dab tech, here are three pot products that impressed me this month.

Storz and Bickel Veazy

I’ve tried a number of different dry herb vaporizers. Most of them are “meh,” but the Veazy from Storz and Bickel has been in my regular rotation since it showed up at my door (and that’s really saying something).

Brought to you by the folks behind the iconic Volcano vaporizer, the Veazy is a sleek and cute way to inhale bud without the gross byproducts that go along with smoking. It’s user-friendly and delivers noticeably better flavor than most handheld dry herb vapes.

I will say, the new Pax Flow is also impressing me. I need to conduct some side-by-side comparisons to determine which dry herb vape will reign supreme this season.

Puffco New Proxy

We love to see a company step up its game time and time again. Such is the case with the New Proxy from Puffco

The updated e-rig is a vast improvement on the OG Proxy in multiple ways. It has Puffco App connectivity to customize your sesh, a new joystick carb cap for improved airflow, and a far deeper chamber for all the hash heads who want big rips. Even my husband—unimpressed by Proxy 1.0—admitted the new version “rips.” That’s a ringing endorsement.

Picc Platform Hash Holes

Most pre-rolls on the market suck. There, I said it. But joints from Picc Platform just hit different.

I discovered the company during a trip to New York for the Revelry event, when several dispensary staff said they were one to watch. Picc Platform has pre-roll machines with a ton of patents, crafting products that won’t canoe, run, or clog. I put this claim to the test on a number of different hash holes and un-infused joints. So far, they’ve delivered on that promise

Staying on top of cannabis trends isn’t easy in such a fast-moving industry. But reviewing products is one of the perks of the weed journalist job—especially when standouts like these cross my desk.
