10 mind-blowing weed brands we saw at New York’s Revelry event

revelry new york 2025

The New York cannabis scene is booming. Despite a bit of a shaky start, regulated dispensaries are beginning to thrive—and thirsty for the hot new thing. Nowhere was this more evident than at Revelry. Held at Pier 36 in New York City, the two-day event was packed with buyers, brands, and industry elite searching for innovation.

Despite a thick crowd and just a few hours on site, the GreenState team was able to scope out a decent percentage of booths. From upstate New York cultivators to multi-state brands hoping to break in, here are some of the standouts from this year’s show.

Picc Platform

Throughout our week in New York, one name that we kept hearing was Picc Platform. Pre-rolls and hash holes manufactured by the company are generating quite the buzz. Picc Platform provides cutting-edge, patented cannabis production technology, and joints made on its machines promise not to run, clog, or canoe. We stress tested a few Picc Platform doobs and can confirm: they’re worthy of the hype.

Skyworld

Another brand we were excited to connect with was Skyworld. The company has Indigenous roots, founded by members of the Tuscarora Nation. They also have incredibly dank flower and pre-rolls. We smelled a number of jars at the booth, settling on the White Apple Runtz. At Revelry, Skyworld was promoting a new collab with STAYME70, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony’s brand. While they didn’t have samples available, we’re looking forward to tasting those Hall of Fame terps.

Butter

We had seen flower jars bearing the Butter name at a number of dispensaries throughout Manhattan, but this was the first time we could actually interact with the Michigan-founded brand. The Triangle Kush cross was definitely a winner, but it was a smaller display on the table that really piqued our interest. Butter will soon be launching infused spreads, perfect for amping up your toast, croissant, or anything else that needs a hint of THC. We saw a similar product called Cannatella at dispensaries, but we could not find it at Revel.

Bloomer

The cannabis industry has a sustainability problem. That’s why it was so refreshing to see a company like Bloomer at the Revel event. The brand makes plantable filter tips, which promise to bloom bee-friendly wildflowers post-sesh. The proprietary blend of plant-based waxes and seeds within is meant to be easy to roll and even easier on the environment. We can’t wait to try Boomer tips, and our local bee population is stoked, too.

Eaton Botanicals

Eaton Botanicals has been on the GreenState radar for a minute, but we had no idea how popular they were in NY. Pretty much every dispensary we visited shouted out the brand. The brand’s gummies are unique, blending both cannabinoids and functional mushrooms for maximum wellness impact. At Revelry, Eaton was promoting two new products: a Blueberry Coconut “Cool Down” gummy for post-workout and an “Apple-a-Day” general wellness bite.

Alchemy Pure

While we couldn’t smell as many jars as we would have liked to at Revelry (we had to cover a lot of ground in four hours), Alchemy Pure definitely took top olfactory marks. The Trainwreck was easily the most pungent at the event, stinging the nostrils with its rich diesel fumes. The brand got bonus points for its sungrown, sustainable practices—a real standout in the New York cannabis market.

Alibi Cannabis

We adore a female-founded brand, especially one with a story of healing behind it. Alibi was created by Marianna Cursetjee, whose battle with cancer inspired her to focus on plant medicine. Originating in Oregon, Alibi is hoping to strike a chord in the Empire State. At Revelry, pre-rolls and vapes were available, but it was a hit from the Spiced Apple all-in-one that really left an impression, conjuring big sweater-weather energy.

Bonanza Cannabis Company

Another brand setting its sights on New York is Bonanza Cannabis Company. The Colorado-based company has achieved success across the Southwest and is now expanding its reach on the East Coast. Bonanza offers wood-tipped cartridges in a wide variety of strains, but the two-gram all-in-one vaporizers are especially popular. The GreenState team thoroughly enjoyed the classic Blue Dream variety, with a spot-on flavor and hardware that packed a punch.

Woodstock

Nostalgia is always a winner, especially when it’s associated with free love and the greatest musicians of a generation. Woodstock captures this essence with its groovy line of flower, pre-rolls, and vaporizer products. The brand’s booth at Revelry was buzzing big time, thanks to its blend of whimsy and world-class weed. We grabbed an all-in-one vape and a two-pack of pre-rolls, both of which promised to transport us right back to the Summer of Love.

Wandr

Over at the Entourage booth, there were several cool products to explore. The wholesale arm of multi-state operator Fluent Cannabis, Entourage connects the company’s in-house brands with dispensary partners across the Empire State. Our favorite of the lot? Wandr, an edibles brand steeped in adventure. The fairy goddess logo hit our heartstrings, and the fact that the Sweet Mango chews we sampled are made from high-quality live rosin extract is the icing on the cake.

The New York cannabis scene is making a splash, and Revelry showcased just how much interest there is in this new market. With over $2 billion in legal sales since adult-use started, there’s nowhere to go but up.
