Celebrate the 4th with these weed-focused events

Fireworks

The Fourth of July has always been a social holiday. From grilling in the backyard to watching fireworks with family, the day gives us all an excuse to be around the people we love, doing the things we love. With the rise in cannabis use in the States, many of these activities have begun to include the plant—even if your family doesn’t use it, here are a few events you can attend to spend the day off with some like-minded stoners.

Atlantic City 4th of July Bud Crawl

If you find yourself in New Jersey on the 4th, check out the Atlantic City Bud Crawl from 2 pm-6 pm. Combining weed with lively NJ nightlife, the event is sure to be a hit. Attendees will also have access to shuttle transportation, at least four participating dispensaries in the area, and merch giveaways.

Tickets are available here.

The CannaBar Independence Day BBQ

Also in NJ, CannaBar is making sure stoners are spoiled for the holiday weekend. From the 2nd to the 6th, the store is offering 15 percent off all products, and on the 4th, it’s hosting an Independence Day BBQ.

The vendor will have burgers and hot dogs available for purchase—with every sale, you’ll have the chance to claim a ticket redeemable for free munchies and an infused Chef Matt condiment of your choice.

OhioCannabis.com Freedom Farmers Market

Even if you’re too busy on the actual holiday to go out, head to the Freedom Farmers Market at the Berea Fairgrounds on the 5th. Support local Ohio growers and cultivators, or take demo classes to start growing yourself (legally, of course).

The event is complete with burgers, pizza, BBQ, and music—and smoking is of course allowed at the venue. All veterans get in for free and will receive a free clone from select vendors.

This is the last of OhioCannabis.com’s Farmers Markets for the summer, so make sure you’re there!

Weed-fueled fun for the whole summer

As summer begins to shape up and a plethora of weed-focused events begin to pop up around the country, start the season off strong with these events. Even if you can’t make it to these, make sure to hug a loved one and maybe share some weed with them—if they’re into that.
