From dabs to drip: Everything fueling my 4/20 weekend
4/20 is one of the best times of the year for the cannabis community, as smokers around the world celebrate the unofficial high holiday. This year, 4/20 falls on a Monday, meaning the festivities will most certainly spill into the weekend prior. Add the vinyl frenzy Record Store Day on the 18th and psychedelic holiday Bicycle Day on the 19th, and the calendar fills up fast.

I’m celebrating every side of the holiday trifecta this year. From high-CBD rosin to gourmet gummies, here’s what’s the 420-friendly gear fueling my weekend.
What I’m hitting
Flower, concentrates, vapes—I’m running the full playbook.
Budularo Destroyer aka Pearls Flower

One of my favorite Hall of Flowers Ventura finds is finally available in select California dispensaries. Budularo‘s Destroyer is a long-flowering variety delivers uplifting effects without the raciness—ideal for powering through a 420 marathon. The bulbous, pearl-like appearance (dubbed ‘Pearl Pheno’) is a guaranteed head-turner at any sesh.
Humboldt Terp Council Papaya 1:1 Rosin

I’ve been chasing high CBD dabs for years with no luck. Then I met Rob Gale of Humboldt Terp Council at MJBizCon, and everything changed. He promised he had something for me, and at the following Hall of Flowers, he showed me the 1:1 CBD:THC rosin of my dreams. By the way, that Papaya ended up being the talk of the show (buyers and manufacturers: take note).
Snowtill James OG Flower

I’ve had to become more cautious with higher-THC flower lately, but the James OG from San Francisco’s Snowtill is hitting just right. The brightly colored nugs are a stunner, and one whiff of the fuel and funk-forward terps will have your mouth watering. The buzz is chill but not stoney with zero paranoia—precisely what I need.

Rove CBD Vapes

I was pleasantly surprised to see popular vape brand Rove recently introduced effects-based CBD vapes, a real rarity on the market today. For those of you who want the full potency, fear not: Rove also introduced rosin vapes in select states.
Custom Cones Fillable Cross Joint

420 is the time when all the trick joints come out. I’ve never shied away from the fact that I cannot roll, and am grateful every day for the advent of fillable cones. Fortunately, Custom Cones has the classic cross joint format sure to impress the entire 420 sesh.
What tools I’m using
I’m rinsing glass and charging devices as we speak!
Vitae Glass Bong

We’re likely to get visitors over the 4/20 weekend, and just like when Grandma would break out the fine china for visitors, we have to have our fanciest glass on display. The Vitae modular bong is one of the prettiest pipes I own—and always a conversation starter.
Puffco Proxy Core

The most recent addition to the Puffco lineup is a surprisingly powerful e-rig that fits in the palm of your hand. The durability, small size, and long battery life make me confident that the Proxy Core will make it to all of the seshes on my schedule.
Jane West Twenties Collection Hand Pipe

Despite having a closet full of cannabis gadgets and gizmos, my go-to is still a good old-fashioned bowl. My Jane West Twenties Collection hand pipe has a permanent spot on my desk and is in heavy rotation when I’m typing away (even the high holiday can’t stop the work clock).

Chill Pipe Bong

While the Vitae is one of the most stunning pieces in my home, my husband is a klutz that I just can’t trust around heady glass. His go-to is the Chill Pipe, which lives in his smoking station and provides ice-cold rips throughout the day.
PAX Four

I always keep a dry herb vape in my backpack when I’m on the move, and lately I’m loving the PAX Four. It’s one of the harder-hitting vaporizers on the market, and the gorgeous green hue is a knockout.
RAW Rolling Table

You ever wonder what would happen if a rolling office chair and a rolling tray had a baby? I hadn’t either, until I saw the RAW Rolling Table. This thing is perfect for a group sesh, as you can easily move it in and out of place as the room fills faster than your cones.
What I’m eating and drinking
Cannabis beverages and gourmet gummies for everyone!
Oliphant THC Drinks

The market has been flooded with cannabis beverages, but one brand will always stand out for me: Oliphant. The Wisconsin-based brewer has a wide variety of flavors and potencies, from 3 mg blueberry lemonade to 100 mg rainbow sherbet, and guess what? They’re all delicious. I’ll definitely be bringing a four-pack to my Bicycle Day/Pre-420 record meetup.
Sonoma Hills Farm Spicy Arugula Gummies

I’ve become quite the mixed ratio fan as of late, blending minor cannabinoids with THC to help offset the anxiety surges in my body. I was elated when Sonoma Hills Farm collaborated with Top Chef winner Chris Cosentino on a Spicy Arugula pre-roll and the THC:CBG:CBD formula is now making waves in gourmet gummy form, courtesy of the notes of fennel and lemon verbena. For the first time in three years, I’ll be able to eat an edible on 420 – bless up!

BLK MGK Espresso Hemp Spirit

The emergence of weed espresso martinis has been one of my favorite developments in the cannabis world. This 420, I’m stoked to make a round for my guests using BLK MGK, the quintessential espresso hemp spirit.
What I’m wearing
Because we have to come to the high holiday correct.
Housing Works Sweatshirt

Many 420 festivities are taking place on Saturday, April 18. I won’t be in attendance—I’ll be lining up at 4:20 am for Record Store Day hoping to score that limited Johnny Blue Skies picture disc. It promises to be a chilly one so I’ll be rocking my cozy Housing Works ‘Make Love Not Drug War’ sweatshirt.
Smoke Show Co Tracksuit

On 4/20 proper, I’ll be going all out in cannabis couture. This includes my favorite Smoke Show Co tracksuit adorned with cheetahs and pot leaves, which will surely be a 420-friendly conversation starter wherever I go.

Ras Boss Nug Necklace

My 420 fit would not be complete without my double-stacked Ras Boss necklaces. Each features a gold-dipped nug adorned with gems. People often do a double-take when they see it — “Wait, is that weed?!” Yes, yes it is.
High on Plants Earrings

Rounding out the weed leuk are my cannabis leaf earrings from High on Plants. I have a few pairs to choose from, but this year, I think I’m going loud and proud with the limited-edition electric orange acetate. I mean, who’s trying to be subtle on 4/20?
The high holiday promises to be a weed-fueled marathon for the ages. Fortunately, I have more than enough ammo to get through this 420 weekend without greening out. Have fun out there, friends, and stay hydrated!
