Major psychedelic event coming to Miami

The world’s largest cannabis and psychedelics event is returning to Miami, May 23-24.
The iconic Cannadelic conference and tradeshow takes place at the mammoth Miami Airport Convention Center, drawing thousands of plant medicine enthusiasts alongside a host of industry experts and celebrities.

Cannabis and psychedelic industry leaders such as NFL Hall of Famer and Highsman cannabis CEO Ricky Williams, Florida Democratic Party Chair Nicole “Nikki” Fried, 2x Stanley Cup Winner and legal Psilocybin Services Center operator Daniel Carcillo, Bionic Bloom founder Dr. Angela Fisher, and dozens of other leaders of industry and policy reform will be presenting to a packed venue of international attendees.
The festivities kick off this Thursday, May 22, with a VIP Golf Scramble with football great and Highsman cannabis founder Ricky Williams. The fun will continue with a VIP welcome reception in the lobby of the conference hotel, adjoined to the venue.
The regular ticketed conference programming kicks off Friday, May 23rd, and features a heady mix of cannabis and psychedelic-specific content. Experts from across different verticals of the industry will offer cutting-edge analysis and insights into the evolving legal and regulatory structures governing the emerging spaces, immersive experiences, cultural exchange, scientific inquiry, and much more in an immersive environment built for networking and B2B opportunities.
“There’s just so much going on this year — it’s overwhelming,” said Cannadelic founder Pete Sessa.
“We’ve got two days of the really big, important conversations happening on the Main Stage, and deep dives happening on the Fireside Stage,” he added. “There are mushroom growing workshops, breathwork, cacao ceremonies, sound healing, infused yoga, DJs — the list goes on and on.”

An expo hall with 60 + vendors and exhibitors will feature the latest in innovative products and services relevant to these industries, as well as immersive experiences and unrivaled networking. The event also features one-stop shopping from the most innovative companies with cutting-edge products, live demos, and sampling.
“The expo hall is packed with new brands, and one that was actually born at Cannadelic and is now the world’s #1 selling THC beverage, Brez,” Sessa noted. “Then there’s the VIP awards dinner and suite party, and then Saturday is just on another level — we do it all again, plus a live 5-MeO-DMT immersion, and a 15-DJ afterparty that turns into pure madness in the best way.”
Cannadelic Miami sees two convergent worlds collide
While the cannabis and psychedelic industries have faced considerable headwinds in recent years due to high competition, disjointed and often confusing regulation across states, and lingering federal prohibition, among other factors, there are many reasons to be optimistic about both sectors. Cannabis, mushrooms, and other psychedelics have never been more popular among consumers, regardless of legality, and the new head of the FDA in the United States recently remarked that exploring the therapeutic potential of psychedelics is a “top priority for the Trump administration”.
Younger generations are increasingly opting for cannabis-infused ‘social tonics’ and mushroom microdoses in place of alcohol and tobacco, and recent reports from the RAND corporation cite an unprecedented rise in popularity in psychedelic use among the U.S. population.

Cannabis and psychedelics events often cater to one or the other of these two fledgling industries, but the overlap between the communities and the players in the markets is undeniable. These two communities have always shared ties, and many of the same people operate in each of them.
As the emcee for Cannadelic 2023 and again for this year’s edition of the event, I’ve seen firsthand how professional and exceptional this massive trade show and conference is. After attending 100 + events over the last three years, Cannadelic stands out for both their scale and the quality of the brands and operators that they bring out to Miami.
The Cannadelic brand has established itself as a major player in both the cannabis and psychedelic industries, attracting top-tier brands and retail buyers in addition to thousands of attendees. Relationships formed at previous Cannadelic events continue to pay dividends for attendees, as I can personally attest to multiple business opportunities that emerged from connections I made at Cannadelic 2023.
Do your future self a favor and come to Cannadelic Miami.
