Store offers free weed for proof of Bigfoot

The world has its fair share of cryptids, or creatures that people believe in but whose existence remains unproven. Bigfoot is the most popular American cryptid. An entire research organization is dedicated to finding the large, furry, man-shaped creature. The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) tracks sightings nationwide, and the most recent one happened in Michigan.

Bigfoot was allegedly seen on May 18th near Laplaisance Road in Monroe County by a 47-year-old man referred to as Edward, according to KXII12. He was bow fishing when the rustling trees pulled his attention away. A large thud followed, which the outdoorsman believed was a large animal. The creature crouched on the ground, looking at him, before Edward’s dog chased the creature up a hill.
BFRO researched the event. Their report indicates the alleged Bigfoot was covered in dark fur and ran on two legs, hunched over. Edward’s son, who was along for bow fishing, said it was as large as a bear but looked like a gorilla, according to the report. Whether it was really Bigfoot or not, one local dispensary is along for the ride.
Uniq Cannabis will give anyone who can provide photographic evidence of the cryptid a free pre-roll. A sign out front of their store reads: “Bring photo proof of Bigfoot for a free pre-roll,” with a disclaimer that the customer must make a purchase before they can get one. Finding a creature whose existence has not been proven in the 80-plus years since its first sighting would be quite a feat. Maybe a full eighth would be in order.
This is not the first Monroe Bigfoot sighting. Stories of the monster have traveled around the city since the 1960s. However, this may be the first time that proof of Bigfoot’s existence could earn the hunter free weed. Let the hunt begin!
