Keef Cola brings cannabis-infused soda to California

California cannabis consumers will now be able to enjoy their pot in the form of a classic soda pop.

The Colorado-based cannabis company Keef Brands announced the Northern California launch their award-winning line of THC-infused soda beverages known as Keef Cola, according to a press release.

Keef will work alongside CannaCraft to manufacture and distribute Keef Cola throughout California, although the line of sodas first hit shelves in Boulder, CO nearly a decade ago. Distribution has begun in Northern California with plans to launch in Southern California later this summer.

Keef Cola is made using high-quality CO2 cannabis extract and pure cane sugar, with each 12-fluid ounce bottle containing 10 milligrams of THC, as well as vitamins C, B3, B6, and B12.

Sodas will be available in five refreshing flavors — Original Cola, Bubba Kush Root Beer, Blue Razz, Orange Kush, and Purple Passion.

“We’re thrilled to be back in the California marketplace,” said CEO Erik Knutson, who co-founded Keef Brands in 2010. “Connecting with California consumers, both the canna-curious and experienced enthusiasts, helps us further our mission to strengthen a positive cannabis culture and community. By offering another way to consume cannabis in the form of high-grade beverage products, we are able to complement social, positive and healthy lifestyles.”
