The very first GreenState Consumers’ Choice contest is currently underway. Weed fans nationwide nominated their favorite regional brands, national hemp brands, accessories, and more. Now, those with the most nominations will advance to the final voting round, starting June 9th.
Meanwhile, the California Cannabis Awards (CCA) at the California State Fair has partnered with GreenState in its own Consumers’ Choice Award. Every competitor in the CCA is eligible to win. Organizers wanted to bring another element to its storied contest through this addition, providing another accolade its contenders could achieve and putting the power in the people’s hands.
If you want to support your favorite California Cannabis Awards contestant and/or participate in the final ballot for the national GreenState Consumers’ Choice, here’s a step-by-step guide to both. California Cannabis Awards is first, followed by the broader GreenState awards.

California Cannabis Awards Consumers’ Choice
Follow these steps to vote in the California Cannabis Awards’ Consumers’ Choice category (hint: it’s easier on a computer than a phone!):
Go to GreenState.com/CCA
Scroll through the alphabetical list of California Cannabis Awards competitors. Searching the list with CTRL+F is very handy here, as there are many brands.
Once you’ve found your favorite competitor, click “vote.” You can vote once daily through June 26th.
Encourage others to vote for your fave by clicking “share.”
Create a link by selecting the envelope below the competitor’s name. Ensure your pop-up filters are off since the email draft with a link should pop up.
You can spread this link to your network far and wide. To share on Facebook or Twitter/X, click the respective icons.
The winner will be announced during the California Cannabis Awards at the California State Fair on July 12. Visit the California Cannabis Experience at the fair any time between July 11th and 27th to see all the contest medalists! You may even be able to pick them up at the on-site dispensary to try them for yourself.

GreenState Consumers’ Choice
GreenState is providing a platform for weed fans nationwide to honor their favorite brands. Dozens of companies across the country were nominated last month. However, only the brands with the most votes will be included in the final ballot, debuting June 9.
Here’s how to help your favorite brand take top honors. Just like CCA, it’s better to do this on a computer over a phone, as the platform can be a tad finicky.
Go to GreenState.com/awards
Scroll down to find the group you want to vote for. There are groups for licensed cannabis brands in different regions (Northeast, South, Midwest, Northwest, and Southwest) as well as national hemp brands, accessories, and the “best of the rest,” which includes things like events and podcasts.
Scroll to the category you want to vote in. There’s a menu on the left side of the screen for easy access. You can vote in multiple groups and categories, if you’d like.
Once you’ve found your favorite competitor, click “vote.” You can vote once daily through June 26th.
If you want to encourage others to vote for your fave, click “share.”
