What I learned about edibles and cannabis meetups

Interested in ingesting your weed as an alternative to smoking?

Take a look at this visual guide from Cynthia Villamizar. She recently started a cannabis re-education platform called Cyntivee:

Her goal? To bring cannabis into the new age of class, sophistication, and elevation.

She throws hosts fitness cannabis meetups as well as a classy event series in the Bay Area, called “Enlighten and Elevate”, which involves a panel of others who are working hard to de-stigmatize cannabis.

The last panel included Harvard graduate and Medical Doctor Jessica Knox, CEO of the American Cannabinoid Group. She explained how cannabis engages physiologically with our bodies, drawing upon her knowledge as an MD to understand the healing plant on a deeper level.

It also included Jennifer Skog, who is a powerful working mom and photographer, creating the visionary women-focused lifestyle magazine called MJ Lifestyle. It showcases a whole different side of cannabis that embodies healing, class, sophistication, and more.

The crux of it all? Education.

That’s what it takes for people to change their minds. Information and awareness.

The more that reputable, respectable people push forth proudly with their engagement with cannabis and share their personal stories on how cannabis has helped them, the more the reputation of cannabis as a whole will be uplifted.

In the Bay Area and interested in attending a cannabis meetup? I’m planning to attend Desire Weed Tours on Saturday, October 12 from 4:20pm to 7pm. I would love to invite you!

Think classy winery tour up in Napa with a bus and all, but with weed. Visit different dispensaries, hit up vape lounges, enjoy cannabis-infused alcohol-free cocktails.

I’ll be sharing my own reactions in my next piece, so look out for it!
